Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Digital Product — Immediate Delivery

GL Collect debt recovery documents are digital products that are generated and delivered immediately upon payment. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day cooling-off period for most online purchases.

However, because GL Collect delivers digital content immediately, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose your 14-day cancellation right once the document has been generated. This consent is obtained at the point of payment before you complete your purchase.

2. When Refunds Are Not Available

Refunds are not available once your document has been generated. This is because:

• The digital content (your personalised debt recovery document) has been delivered in full;
• You consented to immediate delivery at the point of purchase;
• The service has been fully performed;
• The content cannot be "returned" as it has already been viewed and potentially used.

We do not offer refunds based on the outcome of your debt recovery. GL Collect generates debt recovery document templates — whether your recovery succeeds or fails is not within our control and is not a basis for a refund.

3. When Refunds May Be Considered

We may consider a refund in the following exceptional circumstances:

• Technical failure: Payment was taken but no document was generated due to a system error, and the issue cannot be resolved by regenerating the document;
• Duplicate payment: You were charged twice for the same document;
• Fundamentally wrong output: The generated document is for a completely different document type than what you selected (not simply that you disagree with the legal arguments chosen).

4. How to Request a Refund

Email support@golitigo.ai within 14 days of your purchase with:

• Your account email address
• Date of purchase
• Description of the issue

We aim to respond within 3 working days. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5–10 working days.

5. Free Tier

Your first 5 debts are provided free of charge. No payment is required and therefore no refund question arises for your free debts.

6. Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law. If you believe we have not met our legal obligations, you may contact Citizens Advice or Trading Standards.
